Arabian Bemco was awarded a US$ 3 billion contract in June 30, 08 with SEC for turnkey supply and installation of a 3,000 MW built on a 5 million square meter PP10 plant outside the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. This is a Greenfield project that will initially install 36 GTG simple cycle base loaded gas turbines on treated crude oil for future conversion to combined cycle blocks with the addition of unfired HRSGs and steam turbine gensets.
