UIDC is a newly established development company with 1 Billion US$ committed investment,

that will invest and participate in large infrastructure projects primarily in the power and desalination sector in the Middle East and other surrounding countries as the opportunities come forward.

The track record and credentials of its parent companies Arabian Bemco and Gulf Power International with the background and experience of its Professional Staff will give UIDC the necessary resources to be one of the leading developers. UIDC has offices in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

UIDC is currently participating in Ras Az Zawr IWPP (1600 MW of Power & 40,000 M3/day water) in Saudi Arabia and Shuweihat S2 IWPP (1600MW of power & 100 MIGD of water) in Abu Dhabi. Also, UIDC have expressed interest to participate in Rabigh IPP (1200 MW of Power) by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC). The parent company of UIDC, Arabian Bemco Contracting Company have a very long & successful relationship with SEC and long established relationship and credentials with local and regional banks. UIDC will benefit from Bemco’s vast knowledge and experience in the power generation field.

In addition, UIDC is in discussion with SBG & MMC to work on JIZAN IWPP.
